Stop and smell the ...

Hank, our black Lab, was riding in the backseat beside Sawyer the other day.

He was pacing as much as he could on the seat until I realized he might want his window down. So I rolled it down about halfway.

Sawyer: "Hank's window down."

Me: "Yes. I put Hank's window down so he can sniff outside."

Sawyer: "Put my window down."  (He loves to play the game of Window Up/Window Down.)

Me: "Are you going to sniff outside, too?"

Sawyer: "Yes." Sniff, sniff.

Me: "Do you smell something?"

Sawyer: "Yes."

Me: "What does it smell like?"

Sawyer: "Peen butter." (He can say peanut just fine, as it's part of "the baseball song" we sing anytime we're in the car. But peanut butter sounds more like this.)
